      Hello everyone,

I'd like some insight on a potential offer I have for a picture book. The catch is that client works on a day rate (this is a legit publishing company).

They've briefly mentioned that the project may take about 80 days but the final fee will be confirmed depending on the number of days they require if this project proceeds.

Does anyone have any experience with this sort of contract? What are the things I would need to make sure of? I'm not sure if 80 days is continuous or staggered since 80 days for a PB is pretty tight.

But the client has good reviews and the 80 day total (if it works out) is pretty decent.

I am also a relatively fast worker so I wouldn't want my efficency to work against me.

      Any insight would help!

      Thanks!

@Neha-Rawat Congrats on the offer, but that sounds like it could be a very stressful way to work. I'd like to know more about how much flexibility you'd have as the project progresses.
