Mermay Piece

Working at least finishing one thorough Mermay piece this month. Sharing it to keep me honest to actually finish it :). Initial sketch

Blocked in some of the colors and shapes and started to figure out what color to make the mermaid.

Hey looking good! One critique I have is that maybe his head placement is a little off or maybe his head in relation to the size of the tank needs adjusting. Hope that helps can’t wait to see more!

@Asyas_illos Yeah you are 100% on. I found that on the next pass when I started adding a bit more detail to that section and finally had to move it over when it was WAY less easy hah. Moral of the story, flip the canvas sooner heh.

Progress on the next couple steps. Started to move the head over to fix that issue and then adding coral.
