A couple sketches/doodles I did while assisting in a cryptozoology class at our co-op.
She said mermaids are half human and half fish. Shrug
Hi Debra! Thanks for sharing your sketches- they're really fun. I like that the mermaid has flipper shoes. It's the perfect touch,

Playing with textures. Cheap paintbrushes really are a lot of fun to work with.
I surprised myself today, and was able to work some more on this piece from last fall. I love it and hate it all at once, and I think that's because it's not finished, and because I've changed in the past year. But... "Finished, not perfect", right?
I finished it!
Sigh of relief I feel so good right now.
