Art Residencies for Illustrators?

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for partially or fully funded art residencies? There's almost so many results on google that its overwhelming to sift through.

I don't know any specific residency for illustrators but many museums offer residency for artists in Europe. Are you looking for a specific location? Maybe you should start from there and then sort out by your interest for the museum's artistic project? What I mean is, there should be a sort of match in order to be selected. Recent museums are maybe more keen to have an artist in residency ?

I've done an art residency in Cologne, Germany. I was funded by the British Council so it's worth contacting the culture department of your country to get funding.
