Superhero WIP Critique Please!
-
Hi all! I've been working on my superhero character sheet and a critiques would be so helpful! I feel like I don't know what I'm doing since I've never actually designed a character sheet before.
Concept: She moves super fast so that you can't see her while she's moving. You can only see her when she stops. Another superpower is her hair which moves on its own and helps her with her missions.
Is the concept clear? Any ideas to help it come across better? Is it too much to have 2 superpowers mixed up in 1 superhero?
Any and all advice welcome!

@kirsten-mcg I really like what you came up with (idea and rendering) and I feel like I understand what is going on with the pictures you have. Unfortunately I read the description before really looking at the picture, so I am not sure what I would think if I hadn't done that . But I can tell that her hair is holding the key and that you can tell there is invisibility involved with the running part, so I think it is good.

I think the legs and the arms might need some sort of pattern or just a little something to vary it up. I might feel differently once it’s all colored, just wanted to put the idea out there. I think the design is great and the abilities are clear. Keep it up!

@Griffin Patterns on her clothes are a great idea! I'll play around with it. Thanks for the feedback!

@Kim-Rosenlof Thank you! I think what I needed most was encouragement to keep going! I start doubting myself when it's something i've never done before.

@kirsten-mcg Nice job putting this together! Look forward to seeing your progress on it!

@kirsten-mcg Hi, Kirsten. I’ve been thinking about this for a few days – the showing the hair as a power that helps her.
I think the clearest way to show that would be to treat her hair as a separate character almost, like a sidekick that is helping her in all poses.
I see the assist in the closeup where the hair is holding the key. Maybe when she’s hiding, her hair is peeking around the corner playing lookout? Maybe the hair is holding a magnifying glass or detective tool in another? Maybe, in a humorous play, the hair is holding her water in a pose?
