RE: FEBRUARY CONTEST: YETI COOKING
Thanks everyone who voted for my yeti. I swear he's only trying to add some cinnamon to the kids' coacoa, and not preparing to eat them as many of you sickos think. I just rewatched the livestream today, because the first time I had a screaming toddler in the room with me and i missed most of it. It was awesome that i made Will and Lee laugh out loud and that I got some feedback from them. I really didn't think I would make the top 16 because there were so many quality pieces and this was my first time entering, so it was a nice suprise to be one of the winners, and let's hope those kids make it out alive!

RE: Our SVS Virtual Studio πDECEMBER 2020π
Doing pet portraits, with real physical paint! It's been so long since I touched a real brush, and it feels mighty good. I also went into a real life art supply store

Hi, this is me
Nice to meet you. Trying not to quit my dream as life unravels all around.

RE: Please critique my March entry
@TessaW @K-Flagg I went over every inch of this thing with a sharp brush. Man, that took a long time. I don't think I ever rendered anything to this level of detail, so this is like new territory for me

RE: Feedback welcome.
I would try to identify your light sources, and if they are on-camera light, make sure they are the brightest thing in the scene. I did a quick paint-over of your illustration to show you what I mean, I hope you don't mind:

RE: Looking For Advice. Something seems off
Are those lanterns lit? I would make them the brightest thing in the scene.

RE: Feedback needed
@Nyrryl-Cadiz THanks for the feedback.
What do you think about this pose?

RE: Our SVS Virtual Studio APRIL 2020π°
Anyone know where I can find the demo that was referenced in this post?

I recently completed my recreation of the digital painting Will Terry demoed to us in his 3 Day Event a few weeks ago. It was a great learning experiencr to complete this. I feel I now have a process to follow that I feel comfortable with.

RE: I pulled this from my dream.
This showed up in my news feed this morning. Martian rocks?

Frustrated with my process- How much reference do you use?
This is my latest piece and there is something about it I don't like. I suspect it's because I didn't use much reference.
I shot some reference for the hands, but that's it. I didn't use any reference for the lighting or the overall pose, I just tried to create the lighting from my head and it feels like an impossible task.
I'm struggling with how much rendering and lighting I want to use in my work, and how much to simplify things. Any insights are appreciated

RE: Feedback/critiques Please!
@jenithornhill I think the sandbox looks good. you can use those lines as a guide to make the window converge to the same vanishing point.

RE: Idea Sketch: feedback appreciated
I would add way more drooping flowers to hit us over the head with the trail of death idea.
