Thanks very much for the really fun prompt! I drew this in Procreate.
I chose to illustrate the bit I found most suspenseful.

Basic perspective assignment to share.
I'm not looking for feedback really. I just wanted to share. I just finished the basic perspective course. I've always been hopeless with perspective. But I'm trying to follow the SVS curriculum. I feel like I broke my brain a little and I still need to practice a lot, but I'm really happy with what I've learned so far. Thank you!
Also, I made the room out of Lego because I found it hard to imagine. I wonder if anyone else did that.

RE: Would really appreciate some feedback
Thank you @BenR and @DOTTYP for the feedback. I really appreciate it. I changed my picture. I might fix it up some more, but I think it is getting better now anyway, thanks to you.

RE: Colouring Book Pages - Facing Inwards or Reading From Left to Right?
I like the bottom one better, because it reads as a spread better (to me at least :)).
They're really nice!

@Jane-Smith-0
Actually I did not think of that. But it does look like an orange.

RE: Help a beginner with tone/lighting?
I like D the best, because I think the backlighting of Eli makes him seem like the star he thinks he is. It shows his shape well, including the microphone, which communicates the story. At first I thought B because it has those advantages too, but I like how a little bit of light hits the sister's face in D.

Would really appreciate some feedback
Hello. I would really appreciate some feedback on my picture. I'm drawing it for a character design challenge group I participate in with a weekly topic (the word is zoo). I'm hoping to one day be a children's book illustrator. I've been working at improving my drawing for years now, but starting from a really low skill level. I subscribed to SVS Learn a month ago and feel like I've learned a lot so far, but am overwhelmed by the many ways I can improve, and how much I still need to learn. Thanks in advance!
