RE: Websites
Thanks so much Heidi. That is one I was thinking. I have my email with GoDaddy and don't want to lose it but not sure I want to stay there either. Very nice work on your site.

RE: XPen artist display
Hi Everyone,
I missed so many of these. Thank you so much for all the responses. I did get the XP pro 12 pen. I do love it. I have to get used to going back and forth from monitor to the mouse for other things. I see why you would want to go bigger, but not too small when using it for Illustration. I work on the smaller side. I do some design as well and it get's confusing, so I switch to my mouse when needed but I think I just need to get used to the tablet with the screen. If I had the space I would have gone bigger, but I did get this as a gift for my birthday and Love it! One thing I love more than the Huion, is the matt screen. It feels nice and not slippery. I loved the Huion too, but was so confused at the time I bought it and returned it and bought a samsung galaxy tab6 for more portable use. Amazing and really made me come back to getting one of these for my computer. One thing to know if you are using a Apple, you need to get an adapter and if you listen to Apple you will be spending close to $100 for one. I went to Best Buy and bought an HDMI to mini display port (same as thunderport), it went right into my thunderport and only cost $10. Score! I agree Huion and XP Pen are definite great alternatives at a lower price and worth the savings. XP has matte screen, extra buttons to program (which I didn't use on my Intuos) but love for this. You get a glove which is nice and a stand. Enjoy! So awesome! -
RE: XPen artist display
Thanks. Appreciate the response. I'm sure not as good as the top end but for the money...worth a try. I have the Wacom and always went with those, but had the worst experience on my last. Just need something new! : )

XPen artist display
Hi Everyone,
I am looking to buy another pen tablet for my computer. I have a wacom intuos pro, but would love to get something with a monitor I can draw on. I can't do the Cintique but there are a lot of other monitor brands out there. I did buy a Huion last year but had to return because something didn't work properly so I have been rethinking. I have been looking at the Xpens display but wanted to see if anyone else is using it and it they like? Specs look good, great price, and located in CA not China. Able to contact more easily. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Kim -

Inktober
How does everyone come up with inspiration for Inktober? I am sure everyone here participates. I was thinking of having a character move through the month, but am blocking. Any suggestions, inspirations, thoughts on what you do? Usually way ahead of myself. Thanks.

Email List to clients
I have a question about creating an email list. Many have told me to do a campaign on Mailchimp. And I've also heard of Content Contact. What about just creating a list of contacts and sending an email from your email and embedding an image? I've done a couple text campaigns on Mailchimp and they keep getting stuck in bulk mail. All I want to do is send something and say, Hey, here is a new group of images, keep me in mind. Suggestions?
