RE: Looking For Advice. Something seems off
I agree with what A.j. said about rim lighting. My suggestion for you would be to reposition the sword to be turned slightly upward to point at the tapestry. I think swords can be interesting leading lines, so you can use it to your advantage by having the sword's point leading my eyes to where you want me to look next.
Also I would remove some of the toes, they're giving the feet a sort of duck feet look.
Here's a draw over where I added the rim light, upturned the sword and edited the feet. Hope it helps! Good luck with your contest!

RE: My Youtube channel!
@NessIllustration these thumbnails look pretty solid! I would suggest integrating your preferred color pallet within the thumbnail. Your brand is so important, it should be stamped on your work as much as you can!
I can’t wait to watch these videos!! -
RE: I need some fresh eyes to finish this
Thank you so much everyone! I made as many edits as I could, but I think I could still push it further. What else needs to be changed/fixed??

RE: Do I need to increase the contrast on this image?
I would definitely suggest more contrast. If you squint at the image and the whole thing blurs together, it needs more contrast.
Pretty good drawing though! -
RE: What to join a discord discussion?
I would definitely join!! I need feedback all the time and a discord would be perfect for that.

RE: Hello, Im new member, looking for artists mates :))
@Евгений-Бондаренко Hi Evgeny! I'm Elisa and I've been wanting to draw comic books for a long time as well. My family moved right before Covid hit the US so it's been tough finding an art community in my area too. That's how I figured the svs forums would be an awesome place to find some artist friends!
I absolutely love your background ink illustrations and I'd love to show you my work-in-progress backgrounds for feedback! Right now I've been doing character commissions for Dungeons and Dragons players, so I haven't put a lot of focus on environments in a while.
Here's my instagram https://www.instagram.com/elimikoart/ I already followed you!

RE: Should I be more selective with my Instagram posts?
Honestly you’re really consistent with your content. Color is a big factor in brand consistency so I think you are right on it. And if you do decide to make a change to a different color, just make sure to keep that color for a few posts.

RE: Do I need to increase the contrast on this image?
So I did a draw over for you on what I would do if this comic stays greyscale. I don’t know a lot about this scene or this character, but this is what I did to create more contrast.
It looks like your doing this traditionally and then scanning it in, am I correct? If so, I would watch a YouTube video about adjusting the value levels on your program before you add any value, to make sure that your lines can be as dark as possible. I hope this helps!!

RE: Kelly’s Yeti Home WIP
This is awesome so far!! For a tech-savy yeti, I would suggest a mailbox that looks pretty industrial, like stainless Steel metal box roughy attached to some vertical stand. Or you could even look at a microwave or other kitchen appliances just for design ideas. It might look out of place at first, but you could make it match. Good luck!
