My first Inktober for this year. This time around I'm fixing and inking up some older dragon designs. I won't manage one a day this year, but I'll try to manage more than one a week. Inked in Procreate.

Modern Idioms Fantasy-ized - Looking for Critique
Hi! I've been making a series of pieces based on modern English idioms and giving them a fantasy twist. My end goal is to put them on t-shirts to sell.
This one is based off of the saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." Instead it's "You can lead an unicorn to a maiden, but you can't make it stay." I feel like it needs some work. Anything you notice that could be fixed or needs work or bugs you?
And here's the three I've finished. I'm pretty pleased with them, but am always open to critique and improving!

RE: How to Be the Best Art Student
I would like to apologize for my previous comments. I was insensitive and made a terrible first impression. I ask for your forgiveness and for a second chance to prove my worth. I have removed my comments and will do my best to be positive and helpful from now on out here on SVS Learn Forums.
I would still like to say that listening to headphones might be the only way that student can get anything done in class, like if they have ADHD or something, so I don't think that listening to music during work time automatically makes them a bad student.
And some students really have trouble integrating into groups of people. Some students might need an invitation to participate in order to even start making friends in class. I don't think being socially challenged necessarily makes someone a bad student. Networking challenged, yes, but not a bad student.

RE: Digital Anxiety
It's okay! There is a ton to learn in the digital world, but you don't have to do it all at once. You might want to search YouTube for some introductory videos and study one or two things at a time. It took those digital savants a lot of time, learning, and practice to get to where they are today, just like you did with the traditional stuff. If you want to do it then you totally can! But the traditional stuff is still very valuable today and I think it always will be.

RE: How to Be the Best Art Student
@Erin-Cortese Thank you very much for your post. It means a lot to me. I feel really bad for that one student of yours. I was a bully victim in grade school so I can really connect with that. Knowing it continues into college is sickening. Thank you from learning from that experience and trying to do better.
It is hard to give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm a very judgmental person deep down, but I'm trying to do better and be more empathetic. I still have a long way to go.
And thanks! Most of my artwork that's online is so old now. I haven't managed much over the past few years for lots of reasons, but I'm trying to get back on the art donkey!

Hi there and welcome! I'm younger, thirty, but I also live in the GTA! Nice to see some potential local friends on here.

RE: WHEN SUMMER VACATION GOES WRONG - Bear munchies
I like the uncropped version better.
I also really like the way you approached the soda and momma bear's mouth. It's very dynamic and fun. The shivering dog is a nice touch too.
My only real critique on this piece is the cub with the watermelon slice. Compared to the rest of the cubs he feels kind of dog-ish. I think the issue is the proportion of his head to the rest of his body, namely that his neck and chest feel too small. He's the only thing really bugging me.
This is way fun! And that little crushed soda bottle is a cool detail.
I agree you can play with the line weight more. Have fun and push it! -
RE: How to Social Media
I haven't listened to this podcast yet (I am so far behind), but would like to comment while it's timely and suggest something that might be helpful to some people who want to post to multiple platforms. There's a website called Zapier that can cross post your stuff for you. You can set it up to do all sorts of different stuff. That way you can just put in the effort of writing a post once and then it gets put up everywhere you want to have a presence. However, the follow up and replying to comments on each is still up to you.

Comic Critiques Please! :D
I'm working on my comic again! (www.furandfangscomic.com) I'm trying to loosen up with my art style so it's quicker/nicer looking. This is my first panel where I've kept that in mind and tried for that, and I'm pretty happy with most of the faces in it! Except for Walter's. Something's way off with it but I can't put my finger on it.
Fur & Fangs is only 18 pages long right now, so it's not a big read if you'd like to go take a peek and give me feedback. I'm open to any and all critique.
Would you be interested in seeing full sketched pages for critiquing?

RE: Business Logo - Share yours here
This is my logo I designed recently. I need to move the eye on it, but other than that I'm pretty pleased with it. It encapsulates my brand pretty well with a gryphon for the fantasy/creative element, a sword since I do HEMA, and a pen since I write as well as art.

@Heather-Boyd Vectornator on the iPad works well, although I've only made one thing in it so far.
