Dragonfly WIP - your feedback is much appreciated!
Hello everyone, I was working on a previous version of this, but half way through I scraped it, it just wasn't working for me when I was coloring it.
Later I got an great idea for a spot illustration while I was doing Tai Chiso I went with that. Its simpler and also easier to finish.
Let me know what you thing, and good luck to you all on finishing your Dragonflys!Final Image:

Wizard of Oz Cover WIP- Need Feedback & Suggestions!
Hello everyone, I'm exited to share with you my progress of painting this Cover art. Thanks for the feedback that you gave me on the thumbnail.
I have done the "line art" that will be used in the final images, and I also did a B&W test on how my lights will work in the scene. I have already done the Flat-ing for the Characters and different planes, so they will be easier to selection during painting process... and I`m about to start paint!
Your feedback is greatly appreciated,
Thanks and have Fun Painting on your own OZ! -
Winter time illustration critique.
Hello everyone!
I was rely exited about the first art challenge of 2020, and I immediately started to sketch & paint, ironically since it was winter, in the last two weeks of January I got sick and I wasn't able to finish it, but here it is.
Please let me know what you think! -
WIP - Bongo the monkey. Your Feedback is greatly appreciated.
Hello Everyone,
I have been working on the exiting project for the past week in my spare time, very exited about how it came out, but I`m still not sure if I could consider it finished.
Maybe something is still missing or something can still be tweaked to make it better.
Please share your thoughts, what do you think?Thank you, and much Love to you all!

Wizard of Oz: THUMBNAILS - Your Feedback is greatly appreciated!
Hello Everyone,
After a day of sketching these 4 are the ones that I think work the best. I`m not sure which one would be better, a more zoomed out scene with the characters more spread out, or the closeup version with the city in the background.
Appreciate your help!
Later...
I started to clean up nr. 4, it was definitely the most effective of them all.
I will leave it as it is for a couple of hours and start working on something else, and later, with a fresh perspective I will start to paint.
Cant wait to share the process with all of you, Thank you!

RE: Dragonfly opinions
Hi Deborah, I think a combination of the two would be the best. It looks really good if you include a "title" on top, but all of the description is a bit distracting in my opinion.
Congrats on your illustration! -

RE: Dragonfly WIP
@Jade-Vaughan Wow the atmosphere is so "ethereal", love it!
I think the only thing I would change would be the last image. It has great buildup and it has also a very dramatic reveal, but the payoff isn't that strong compared to the rest, maybe you could try something that has more of a punch to it in the end, maybe a portal to another world, to realize that the dragonflys were coming form "the other side". -
RE: Dragonfly WIP
Wow I can really feel the motion as I'm reading through. I think nr. 2 works a bit better, cant wait to see what you will do with it!

RE: Revisiting OZ book cover
Hi Marek, I rely love your style, for the cover, the thing that I would experiment more would be the Title of the Book. When you look at it from the distance it fades in to the illustration. You could try a different font or rearrange it.

RE: Gabby's DragonFly WIP thread
@Gabby-Correia wow this is really nice Gabby, I just love how everything in your scene interacts with the Light, and blends the colors together.
Great job! -
RE: Dragonfly WIP looking for feedback
@Annabishop Hey Anna, I really love your illustration! The only thing that I would add is that your main character has the same value as the Lilly pads on the surface of the water, if you look from a distance, they kind of all blend together in to a pattern. Maybe if you tried to blend in the background with the waters color a bit, or try some kind of atmospheric perspective to make the centerpiece pop.

RE: Dragonfly WIP - your feedback is much appreciated!
@Gary-Wilkinson that soulds very exiting, originally I wanted everything to fit in to a circle type shape, but I will do a quick paintover! Thanks for the idea Gary!
