@Kristin-Wauson can't get over how much I love this lol
I'm a freelance illustrator from Delray Beach, FL looking to start my illustration career in earnest. I'm hoping for feed back and critique and a good group of artistic friends here on the forums.

RE: BIG WIP - Crits and Opinions Welcome!
Thanks for the feedback, guys! In the second pic, @rinovarka is right, it's a little kid looking up at a giant robot leg. I might pull back a bit on the image so you can see the hip joint and the giant hand since it's not translating well framed as it is. Good feedback there, guys! Thank you so much! I'll post up more as I go. Having a lot of fun with this
And @Kat - OMG, I might do the giant mug thing just for fun later lol.
RE: BIG idea
What a great Idea. I like how you've got it laid out and I think the general execution is pretty spot on. I would say honestly, go bigger with the dog lol. Shrink the guy down some, and really have the dog overflowing the chair. The concept is super great though, and I'm looking forward to seeing the final version
RE: BIG WIP - critiques please?
Absolutely gorgeous! I love your color pallet and the details on the beanstalk.
The only thing that stuck out - and it's really just a personal opinion bit - is that the facial expression on the mouse changed from rough to finished. He seems a bit more unimpressed now, vs. confused and a little surprised in the first one. I liked that look of "Why are you freaking out?" In the first picture.
But again, that is entirely a personal opinion bit! The pic is great and I really love this finished(?) product
BIG WIP - Crits and Opinions Welcome!
Working on my submission for the "BIG" art prompt. I've got a couple of ideas down, and I think I'm settled on option 2, but I figured I'd ask you guys!
While I like the humor of the first one, I feel like the second one is the stronger piece. What do you guys think?
RE: What are you 2019 illustration goals?
I've got four main goals:
Have a solid illustration portfolio by the end of the year
Get my web comic up and running with my wife
Get inks done for the physical comic book we're working on
Complete all four levels of the basic SVS curriculum
They're all pretty attainable, so hopefully I can knock it out
