Welcome!! How is it to be illustrator in Greece? How is the market? Tough? Do you sell in the rest of Europe?
@Nyrryl-Cadiz happy to be here!!
@Julia Happy to be here!!
The market in Greece is really tough. In previous years ,the general mindset of people was not art directed at all.
In recent years there seems to be an improvement and some motion ,especially by the younger generations.
So ,at this point of time we are at the beginning of our art appreciation growth.
I sell commissions in Europe and USA by targeted ads mostly ,and as of now I ll also try to go the "print"way ,since I ll start attending some cons .
You see I own 2 Taekwondo clubs and that is my main line of work , and arting has always been my thing. Trying to illustrate my childrens book at the moment!

Welcome from Wisconsin, USA where everything is frozen right now. I'm new here too and also working on my own stories. My work with my farm animals inspires a lot of my stories. Are yours based on your love of Taekwondo?

Hello G Chris,
I travelled to Athens some time back, the Acropolis super cool but those stone pathways and stairs are way too slippery for me lols. Also travelling on a highway out of the city -guys have awesome graffiti or wall art!!!
Your wip witch work I like because the witch has a lot of presence/ weight, you've created depth with the framing foliage and characters, and I like the more angular line work that adds suspense and trepidation.

Hi G-Chris! Welcome to the forums!
I really like your illustration. The linework, composition, and shading looks great. And the story's caught my eye. Great job!

Sketch looks great! Can’t wait to see your finished piece.
I’m also a fellow Taekwondo black belt, but stopped teaching years ago. Still love the sport and practice with my bamboo staff on weekends.
I’m one of those people with too many hobbies that I have a hard time finding time for...
When I spend free time illustrating, my health suffers because I’m not working out. I dedicate most of my free time to my family, so anything for me is a bonus!
