@Kris-Knight Thanks Kris
I'm having a lot of fun with it, which means it's missing the mark lol
-
wow!! that's looking great allready! cant wait to see it finished!!
-
I"m excited for this piece, especially the plan logo!
-
@smoke Thanks! I can't wait either hehe
@bharris Oh, I've come up with a lot of them...all of them adult friendly, not so much kid friendly hehe
-
@Lynn-Larson Great idea! I find things like airplanes tough to render but it looks like your off to a good start. I was a little confused to what is in the nose of the airplane. I'm looking forward to seeing this piece completed!

@Lynn-Larson I think if you moved Rudolph away from the glass so he made more of a shape like a reindeer he would read better. I get what you are trying to show but he still reads kind of flat and difficult see. Hope that helps...just a suggestion.
-
@Rob-Smith I can try. I really want it to look like he fell asleep waiting for the plane to load, and just kinda passed out against the glass, his nose all mushed up against it hehe
-
Hi Lynn I really like the idea. I think your image needs a focus point or something to keep the viewer eyes on those characters and their actions. I think working with value and a bit of cropping might help to bring the focus on them better. I did a quick draw over and hope you don't mind.
-
@Lynn-Larson love that rudolph. would be really funny to add his breath on the glass.
-
Thanks guys....was about to dump it and start over
@naroth-kean I like the paint-over. i think i'm focused on details too early, need to get the big parts filled in
-
okay, i think i'm done.... any last minute advice?
-
@Lynn-Larson I love it! Great concept!! The only problem I find is the text is hard to read (great poem by the way!!) I think I would lose the 2 little candy cane lights or move them to the other side somewhere and put the text down in that corner where they were to make it more readable.
-
love the change, it reads a lot better. The color is nice as well as the light.
-
@Lynn-Larson - great job Lynn! I can really feel the growth in your skills over the past few months that I have been part of this community. I love the Rudolph in the front of the plane - such a smart and clever design element!
-
@Thrace-Shirley-Mears I was wondering about that, so fixed it and filled in a hole i had on the right
@Naroth-Kean Thank you! I appreciate that since you are so good at it!
@rich-Green Thanks Rich! That means a lot to me
Well drat...i missed a shadow, and looks like the snow takes your eye off the page?
-
@Lynn-Larson That reads much better!
-
@Thrace-Shirley-Mears Thanks dear!
-
Okay...thinking this is it. Any final thoughts? I'm going to close it for the night, and look at it again tomorrow
-
@Lynn-Larson Looks finished to me, really nice! I love the font on the big "T" nice touch!!
