How to Convey a Message or Story With Your Art
Oh my gosh, you guys make me giggle so hard. Thank you for that... and for a great lesson of course.
I seriously cannot listen to the, at my day job. I am laughing out loud.
@Sara-Hickman I listen with my headphones at home and my husband is constantly asking “what are you laughing at?!”
Me: you would understand honey.

@Jake-Parker Great episode. And this if my favorite of Tanner's images!
@burvantill I picked an old episode for my husband to listen too. He was like I see why you like them!
@Sara-Hickman great idea! I’ll have to look back and see if there is anything up his alley. He’s handy but not artsy.
@Whitney-Simms Yes, Gina's new video is coming out next week!

All three of them are very silly humans
The thingy that helped me with storytelling is reading stories, and also will eisners books on visual narrative. I may have to revisit them and maybe help me reinforce some of the things i learned from svslearn.

Here are the books if anyone wants to browse around for them
This one helped with gestures and body language
Highly recommend for anyone doing a comic
@burvantill the one about the art failures where Will tells the story about drawing the turtle is the one we listened too.

@Whitney-Simms I’ll second that. I’ve taken several licensing courses but learned more in this short course than several others combined!
@Sara-Hickman OMG! That's the one I was going to show him. LOL! Great minds think alike.
