100 Animals Feedback please
-
So I have this idea to do different animals in different locations, starting off with places I have been then moving to places I’d like to go. But I want to also work on drawing the same character in different poses, so I thought I would do sets of 3. So it will be more like 33 animals x 3, so more like a 99 project I guess? So I haven’t finished my 3rd pic yet but I am getting anxious for feedback and I may have bit off more than I can chew with making this too complicated but let me know what you think

@holleywilliamson Very cool idea! I love the texture you are getting with the brushes. I really like the surfer, the water is great. Only crit I have is the eyes look to be almost to perfect like maybe you are using a different brush? Do you know what i mean?

I love the brushes you're using, and your color choices, too.
I agree with @Chip-Valecek about the eyes. Most of the images look like they were drawn with pastels, but the eyes look like ink. Even making the eyes more of a gray rather than black would help out with that.
I think if you added a little bit of highlight on the edge of the bunny's face, ears, arm, and feet in the bottom image it would be even better. Otherwise I can't come up with anything to change about these.

I think that this is such a cool idea to learn how to draw the same character AND learn how to draw different environments!
Usually when I feel like I bit off more then I can chew, it's because it's bed time. I think you got this, and I can't wait to see where this bunny goes. For a small critique, I'm not sure how I feel about the fish eye view in the first image. I like how you played with the distortion, but maybe try it on a wider piece/pano where that really comes into play. Otherwise, if you stay zoomed in, you may also want to distort your figure in the same way, which could be a really fun exercise in perspective and make for a really dynamic image.
