Here's my entry - Rip Van Mushroom, Winkleshrooms.....Gave up trying to come up with a name!! Lots of fun entries and fun interpretations this month! Thank you SVS, for giving us the opportunity to do this!
Thumbelina was stolen away by Mother Toad, who is planning on marrying her off to her son. Thumbelina is full of dread. She does not want to meet this Toad on his "Toadstool." There are so many amazing entries this month! Good job guys!

Hi everyone. I'm completely new to SVS and the Forums, and just found out about this prompt a bit ago, but I thought I would give it a go anyway. Digital painting is new to me. I usually work in mixed media collage, but my story idea wouldn't have worked as well as a collage I think. The little girl and her father have left their home with only the clothes they have and her teddy and have just arrived at a new planet where the city rises above them into the air.

Here is my entry and my first participation in a contest here. I wanted to challenge myself with this illustration and it was by drawing more human-like animals. I normally draw humans so I decided to try that instead.

"I Think I Found Somplace Magical"
I wanted to do something that was not so unreal that it felt foreign, but felt like reality and something out of a book came together. The girl in this image is experiencing that feeling.
Link for the slide show is up and ready to view. 80 pieces, that is one of the highest submission months. http://cshellmedia.com/clients/svs/
@eli Thank you! The many S’s in your reply says it all!! Very kind.
@artwithashley Thank you for the kind words. I was aiming to make people smile. The execution is a little rough around the edges, painting/drawing/design wise. Busy month for me with family events, work, etc. But, as Jake Parker says, “finished, not perfect”.
Awesome enteries this month. So many good options!
