Hey, new member feeling a little daunted!

G'day I'm Rowan from Australia. There are only a handful of people who truly inspire me and Jake Parker is one. His art has a particular feeling to it that really evokes my imagination and encourages me to invent my own little stories told through drawing. I love reading Missile Mouse to my boys (I point a skewer at the panel I'm reading so they know where to look) and looking forward to getting hold of the Mouseguard, Legends of the Guard #3.
I'm heading away for a few days but when I return I'll more than likely subscribe to lessons. But I gotta say I'm really feeling a little overwhelmed by the talent here and wondering if I'll be able to stack up!!! I like mostly flat fills with black line work and I almost always draw in vector format. Look forward to spending more time here

Glad you're here, and I hope you get a lot out of this forum and SVS. Don't feel daunted, we are all working to get better, and I think everyone feels a little bit the same.
