Our featured student for the month of March is Chris Akins. It's up on our blog and below is an introduction to the Q&A that SVS producer, David Braud, conducted with Chris:

I’ve been enjoying Chris’ illustrations for quite some time now. He’s had a couple Critique Arena wins and is always a strong contender. Chris is a Science teacher turned Art teacher and his suggestions on becoming an "observer" are gonna make you really think about how you approach your art-making. Hope you’ll be as inspired as I am by Chris’ creative journey!
