Hello everyone! I recently purchased an NFT from Crypto.com and never sold it or put it up for auction but now someone else owns it and has it up for auction. Can an NFT designer sell the same exact NFT to two different people??
Hello, guys! I want to draw a more complex Christmas illustration and to use the "draw 50 things" challenge for that. Here is my clean sketch after choosing the room layout and after creating multiple thumbnails for a Santa's factory theme. I would really love to find out your opinion. What do you think about:
the composition and camera angle
the overlapping of the objects
the focal point
The gray area is where I want to crop.

I added a veeeery rough values sketch to show you how I'm planning to render it. On the top of the scene there is a big window, the main light source. I was thinking to have Santa in there, dark on light, looking down at his factory full of toys and penguin elves. The near plan is dark, the middle one is lighter because of the light coming from this window, and dark again behind the staircase.

Hello, I’d love some feedback on if these teddies look like they’re right? Please feel free to sketch over with any corrections. I think the last couple of legs maybe slightly too long.
I studied fine art and painted lots of florals so this a new challenge for me. I’m loving SVS learn, it’s so helpful! Thank you for any feedback.
Hi Everyone, I have been painting and drawing for a long time and its only now, in my fiftieth lap of the sun, that I have completed 20+ illustrations for a children's book. It was the author's first children's book too, so you can imagine the learning journey we've both been on. Now that I am devouring the 3 Point perspective podcasts and doing as many lessons on SVS Learn as I can cram in, I will do my next book in a very different way. And charge more tbh 🙂
The images are all full page or double spread watercolours on paper with a bit of coloured pencil.
If anyone has feedback on the images I am open to take it on board for future projects. Thank you in anticipation 🙂
I have a list of mistakes I would try not to repeat if anyone wants to see it. It's a bit embarrassing but we are all here to learn so I'm happy to share.
So I see 'The Magic of Color' class has now been added to the foundational curriculum but COMING SOON. I assume the class is getting updated? Will it have assignments per section like the previous basic foundational classes have been laid out? I have already taken 50% of the class but seriously need a review and hope the updated class comes out this month.
Hi guys. New here and just finished the second course on the main pathway on perspective. Boy have I learned a ton these last few weeks. Wanted to share my final work and get some feedback. For context I’ve always liked cartooning and drawing characters but they were always front on and very flat. This is my first completed drawing with a scene and the breakthrough on these first two courses to place things into a space was so fun. Look forward to learning even more.
Just a lookin' for some feedback here if you've got the time. Criticisms are always more than welcome. What stood out as most off to me was the main cast shadow and the flat black background. Tips on correcting this would be much appreciated too though I know I still have many classes and much practice ahead of me.

Also, I know this is supposed to be for my portfolio but I don't feel at all happy with the style and would prefer not to get work doing these less textured and less painterly digital feeling pieces. Does anybody have advice on that? Would something of this sort be good to revisit later when I have more style or should I maybe just chalk this up to learning and keep moving forward? Thanks again!
P.s. I should note that I am only a couple months into digital painting and haven't explored a ton yet. (Currently I'm watching Marco Bucci's demos and soon will dive into Lee's paintbrush designing class to explore textures.)
I decided to challenge myself this year and enter the SCBWI Narrative Art Award.
Here are the instructions:
Submit a narrative sequence based on the theme, “Be careful what you wish for.”
The submission will consist of either three or four images, without text.
Your art style and visual story must be appropriate for one of these two specific audiences/book genres (Choose one):
Full color, intended for a picture book for 4- to 7-year-olds – OR –
Black and white, intended for a middle grade book for 8- to 11-year-olds
I chose to go with the B&W MG book since that's my target audience.
I was wondering if people could give me some feedback including:
Does the story read? Can you tell what is happening?
Is there anything I could do to make them stronger as artworks.
I started my inktober this year without a plan. On the 6ths day the prompt was “Spirit” so I drew a sweet spirit and a flower meet and I decided to go on with their story.
Each day I’m trying a little different techniques.
I would love to hearing what you think about it.
To be continued…
Curious if anyone has experience using art storefronts for their shop/online art store? I’ve listened to their podcast and like what they have to say. I also know they’re selling their product at the same time as giving marketing advice. Curious if anyone would recommend them of have any experience with their product. Thanks.
