I usually get stumped by one word prompts but this one happened fast.

Wow, I scrolled up and this was fuzzy and terrible before. The airbrush can be disastrous. Here is my final. I already emailed it in today so there's no going back.

Got an idea so I decided to participate late in the game. Lucy's magic show gets out of hand but she has a cork for the hat so everything should be okay...

Any suggestions before I move on?

Oh my gosh I finally broke through the horribleness and here's where I'm at. I want to stay up all night and finish shadowing/refining but my body won't let me. This went through so many restarts! I'll try to post all the junk tomorrow.

I covered her in coral and other ocean plant life all so I didn't have to draw a shell bra.

I've been cleaning up edges and shadows. I like how it's not murky and fuzzy anymore! I changed the background tree because it didn't fit with the way everything else was drawn. Gonna keep poking at it until it's due.

These are my crazy dogs playing in the snow. It snowed in Illinois recently and they were so pumped after living the snow-free life in North Carolina for a couple years. It was fun working with just pink and blue.

This is as far as I got when the deadline hit last week. Both Wicked Witch ideas are here. I was going to do a 4th character (per the requirement) but I'm getting all ADHD with it at this point. Gotta step away and do something else for a while.

Ain't no party like a goose party

Here's where I'm at with the Wicked Witch. I don't know which one I'll end up going with. The top right one is kinda what I'm leaning towards because she's sorta mysterious. I still have to do sketches for the other 3 characters but I went to color on these because it was something relaxing to do. I'm moving tomorrow morning and that's been in the front of my mind all week so I hope to get back to sketching soon. Feedback is much appreciated!

Also, I changed my user name on here to my real name. It used to be gimmehummus.

I think I'm done...

Big fluffy purple clouds over Shorewood, IL as I got on Rt 80 this afternoon.

Hey all. Here's my rough sketch. The heavy black lines are crop lines. It's a kid pretending he's Santa and his reindeer are just stuffed toys. He has to take a stuffed unicorn in their place. Any suggestions for additions or subtractions or croppings? His giant head was smack dab in the middle of the composition so I moved him to the left.

I do traditional stuff too but keep it digital on here because I recently moved and my big art desk is in storage. No room really to spread out all those supplies.

Gosh I'm pretty tired of looking at this project! But I'm a lot happier with the kid after some changes. He had no life before. He's pulling the leash on the unicorn, not giving a thumbs down. I don't have that part done yet. I still have more polishing to do. Any issues some fresh eyes can spot?

Just a quick idea...

He could be ducking like "oh no it's coming right for me!"

It might be because they are complementary colors, red and green, right next to each other so it draws the eye. Have you messed with different colors for them? Have you played with different viewpoints? If you put the balloons at the top the bears will be the main focus and the giant balloon bunch is second.
