@Ace-Connell thanks, I thought that seemed extreme too. I'll take it in and have them look at it.

So I've been trying to come up with some good daily practice techniques that will really hone my drawing and illustrating skills. Obviously there is some really great stuff that go's along with the videos on SVS but I was also wondering if anyone had some techniques they used that they found helpful. I'd be especially interested in anything that helped me improve my composition abilities.
RE: What do you want to learn?
I'd really like to see a class on using Illustrator. It's a program that I use quite a bit at work but would like to see some more advanced techniques and maybe some different approaches to illustrating in it. Also, any classes that deal with the business side of things and how to build your personal brand and style.
I just found this site through watching Will Terry's videos on youtube. This is just what I've been looking for to up my game and relearn all of the stuff I forgot from college, which was almost everything.
I live in Salt Lake, I work as an artist for a company that makes video bingo. Not the most exciting gig but it does give me an opportunity to be creative (sometimes).
I'm here because I have always wanted to be a freelance illustrator (specifically to do children's books and concert posters) but never had the confidence in my artistic abilities to go for it. I think it's time to change that, so here I am. I hope to get to know some of you and learn how to be an illustrator. I look forward to the feedback and critiques in the forums and of course I'm super stoked to watch every last one of the classes posted on SVS.
See you around the site.
