I finally finished my Slowvember!
Wow I learned so much with this challenge, Zac Retz's video about lighting was so insightful.
So I watched the "Lighting for Storytelling" by Zac Retz, and I painted over my image. I realized that I become too detailed and very tight in my work. So I did what Zac does, and worked very small with large brushes, and resisted enlarging the piece (very difficult for me!) anyways, I am happier with it now and also the lighting. also @aska no squirrels!!
Any input is really appreciated :) thanks!
@eric-castleman I know the feeling Eric. I'm considering trashing mine as well. As for your piece, I think the design is good. Love the bunnies! I'm wondering if you just crop the image. Try cropping out the dark tree on the right hand side, making the bunnies more prominent and what they are looking at. Hope this helps :)
@aska Hey Aska, you were so helpful to me, so hope I can give you some good advice. I like the perspective,
the tones are coming along nicely, and the big red elephant really pops. I'm finding the shadow behind the piano bear
distracting. Maybe he should be under a spot light and the drape behind him darker. You have two focal points, and if the elephant is the main focal point, how is he being lit?
